Flow Chart | Queue Management System Structure.

Queue management system structure is the graphical view of how a queue system works. This will provide in-depth overview of the systems terminology. A queue management system flow structure refers to the way in which a queuing management system is designed to manage and regulate the flow of customers or visitors. There are several different approaches to queue management system flow structure, each of which has its own set of advantages and disadvantages.

Step 1: Queue Number Issuance.

When arriving on the premises customers can now get a printed copy of their queue number details may include. Full Name, Email and Contact Number.

Step 2: Waiting area.

After getting queue number customers can now proceed on the designated waiting area of your company. Waiting areas help a lot because you want to make your customers comfortable. This reduces customer walkouts which usually happens when a company do not have a proper way of managing their customers.

 

Step 3: Queue Number Display.

This is a screen or any device that will be used to display the list of queue numbers for each department. It will also allow the users to easily track their queuing numbers.

 

Step 3: Queue List.

After a queue number is issued to a customer a set of queue numbers will be added in the queue management system database. The employee can then start calling queue numbers depending on the type of service he / she is being assigned to cater the customer’s needs.

Step 4: Queue Number Calling.

As the customers queue number is displayed in the screen the customer can then proceed to the designated teller / counter / window where he / she is being designated. The customer can now avail for the service or product that a certain company is offering for faster, smoother and more organized transaction.
